Desert Experiences

For daytime activities, we recommend lightweight, breathable clothing that covers your skin to protect from the sun. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen are essential. For evening activities, bring a light jacket or sweater as desert temperatures can drop significantly after sunset. Comfortable closed-toe shoes are recommended for all activities.

Many of our experiences are family-friendly and suitable for children. Camel treks, cultural performances, and stargazing are particularly popular with families. Each experience listing indicates the minimum recommended age. For very young children (under 5), some activities may not be suitable due to duration or conditions. Please contact us if you have specific questions about bringing children to a particular experience.

For most experiences, we offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are eligible for a 50% refund. For overnight experiences and packages, cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance for a full refund. No-shows are not eligible for refunds. In case of extreme weather conditions that make an experience unsafe, we will offer rescheduling or a full refund.

We strongly recommend booking experiences in advance, especially during peak season (October-April). Popular experiences like the Sunset Camel Trek and Overnight Expedition often sell out several days in advance. For last-minute bookings, you can check availability online or contact our reception desk directly to inquire about same-day openings.

This varies by experience. Culinary experiences naturally include food, and overnight experiences include dinner and breakfast. For shorter experiences like camel treks or stargazing, light refreshments or tea may be included. Each experience description clearly states what food or beverages are included. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
